In 2006, my journey led me deep into the heart of the Amazon rainforest, where I first sat with indigenous curanderos and experienced the powerful secretion of the Phyllomedusa Bicolor frog. Experiencing firsthand the profound clearing of “panema”—the traditional term for the heavy, stagnant energy that clouds the mind and burdens the body—ignited a lifelong dedication to understanding and sharing this profound practice.
